One of my most sad paintings, dream bubble, depicts a woman who is living in her dream bubble instead of reality. I love to create bright, happy paintings, but without our whole range of emotions, we wouldn’t truly appreciate the joyful ones. So in this piece, a young, beautiful woman is seen stuck in grey clouds, longing for her lost lover and living in her memories. Although she is embracing her sadness and not wanting to live in the present, the beams of light coming down from the sky symbolize the light at the end of the tunnel of healing because things will always get better and no matter how sad or lost you feel, there is always hope.
